In My Mailbox (7)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren, where you can post up what books you got for review, from the library, through trade, or even bought, etc. over the past week.

(This IMM accounts for the past few weeks)

Bought:
I have heard so many great things about this series that I am super excited to read it. The concept of it has me captured that and I have really started to get into faerie books lately. Love them and the beautiful fantasy behind them.

Oh my gosh, I was sooo excited when this book finally came out in paperback. The thought of love being a disease and everyone has to get the cure once they turn 18. It is so different and something I would of never thought of myself. Maybe because I am such a sucker for romance that I can't do without it. I really look forward to reading this one.

Okay, this one was bought on a total whim. One of the blogs that I stock (LOL) had nothing but smashing reviews for this series and author. So I totally had to get it and see what all the fuss was about. It is a different concept then I am used to reading, but I still really look forward to eventually getting to this one.

Okay, I have to say that this book captured me from the get go. And the cover is so shockingly gorgeous that I just had to add it to my bookshelf. Happy squeal, I can't wait to read it.

This book was an obvious. I had to get it. I am so super excited to go see 'The Hunger Games' in theatres next month. That I had to finally read the last two books in the series. I am reading 'Catching Fire' now and had to go out and get 'Mockingjay' but I plan on reading this one next. Eck, I can hardly wait.

She screams when a person is about to die.... How could that not be interesting and something that I had to absolutely get my hands on. That and the fact that I have read so many get reviews on this series. It arrived at my dad's after I had already moved, so he has to send it to me, but I so look forward to reading it.... YaY!

I loved 'Wings' (the first book in this series) so much that I had to go out to the bookstores and get this book right away. However, they were all sold out.... Sad face. So I had to order it offline. That's not bad though, because it is finally on my bookshelf and waiting for me to read it. I can't wait.

This was a different concept book for me as well. Where vampires and werewolves are known by humans and it is okay, to a degree. And the main character is opening a vampire themed restaurant and her best friend is a werewolf. Definitely different, but I look forward to reading it.

RAK Gift:
OME! I was soooo excited, my first EVER RAK gift. From the very lovely LiLi. She was sooo sweet when she let me know she had a copy of 'Hereafter' that needed a new home and that she wanted me to have it. I have wanted to read this book FOREVER. And it finally got here I was jumping for joy. Of course, it was funny because my sister opened the package and saw the book and nearly freaked out, because she's afraid of ghosts. LOL. I am so excited, I can't wait to read this one. Thank you SOOOO much LiLi, I will treasure it. =D

That is all I got over the past few weeks. But they are such good books and I look forward to reading them all.

What was in your mailbox?

Uuuuh, I got Delirium last week and I'm still trying to find some time to start reading. Everybody says it's so amazing.

And I finished Mockingjay a while ago, so I can say you it's definitely great, but also unexpected and realistic, but also in some parts too realistic and not as an awesome character development as I hoped for... so yeah, try out for yourself if you like it ;)

If you want to, feel free to check out my first IMM ever here.

@Ajoop: I look forward to reading 'Delirium' it should be really good. I can't imagine a world in where "love" is considered a disease. My whole world would be wasted then. LOL

@Miri: I am currently reading 'Mockingjay' now as well. It has been hard for me to get into especially since Peeta has been captured. I think Peeta is the only real character that I love in this whole series and I gotta say that if Katniss doesn't end up with Peeta it will ruin the whole series for me.
