W.W.W. Wednesdays (39)

W.W.W. Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
To play simply answer the questions below:

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

Below you can find some music to listen to while reading this (for you enjoyment).

What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading What Happens Next by Colleen Clayton. Okay, I am only a few chapters into this book and so far.... Idk. It is actually kind of annoying me. I am trying really hard to be understanding about the situation that Sid finds herself in (because it is such a delicate and hard topic to even broach). So I'm just trying to take it slowly and see where this book takes me. It has gotten a lot of good reviews, so I am hoping that Sid's voice will slowly start to get a little louder and stronger. But at the same time... I understand. I've been in her shoes before. Maybe that is why this is a hard book for me to read, because I didn't take it the same way she is.

What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished reading The Luxe by Anna Godbersen. I was actually really surprised by this book. I had avoided reading it for years, but once I started it I couldn't put it down. I was thoroughly entranced by this book. There was gossip, back stabbing, heartbreak, social ruin... Manhattan in 1899 was a hard place to navigate. And if you weren't one of the popular, rich girls, it just wasn't any fun. You can find my review for it HERE!

What do you think you'll read next?
Next I am going to read The Demon Trapper's Daughter by Jana Oliver. I have read a lot of good reviews for this one and it sounds really interesting. I think I will really like it. Not to mention that I absolutely LOVE the cover for this one. So fingers crossed that I enjoy it. =D

What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction
No, I'm not a groupie, but I actually think some of their songs are pretty good.
